Our Technology

At NaionX, we’re developing next-generation sodium-ion battery cell chemistry using materials fully sourced within the EU. Our patent-pending solution eliminates lithium, cobalt, nickel, and copper—replacing them with more abundant, affordable, and sustainable alternatives.

Current lab performance reaches up to 160 Wh/kg, 3 000 cycle potential, and excellent cold-weather performance. Our unique negative electrode requires 40% less energy to manufacture, with processing at 700–800°C instead of 1200°C.

We focus on scalable, cost-effective chemistry ready for industrial integration—not just academic breakthroughs.
